Choir
Choir is part of an ongoing project exploring television — particularly TV show theme songs — as a medium for activating collective memory and creating community. The catalogue features theme song lyrics from select American TV shows of the 1980s and 1990s, a time when audiences tuned in to the same channel, at the same time, to watch the same episode of the same TV show. This project invites participants to contribute individual audio recordings of themselves reciting TV show theme songs. These crowdsourced recordings will form the audio foundation for this project as it develops.
